Some travelers view the quality of service provided in shops as a way to get around the tax structure. They prefer to give tips to waiters, elevator operators, and taxi drivers and not think of other taxes at all. Since taxes are part of every sale in every place in France, shoppers are relieved of paying for them because they choose to pay the total of the bill, which has the taxes included in them.
