Cleaning after each prevents germs, bacteria, and other types of harmful organisms from growing. Stainless steel will provide many years of use.
Granite is perhaps the most expensive material that can be used. It will cost approximately ten thousand dollars for the average home, which has a countertop area of about ninety square feet. This all natural stone does not withstand heat well, stains and must be resealed at least once a year. This material will outlive the home.
